When configuring any other newsreader, you will need to enter the two server addresses above into the application's set up options. Go to the "Software" page within the Member's Area for instructions on setting up a number of popular newsreaders.

Newsfeeds.com Server Overview

Having access to two different server locations translates into a better speed, virtually no downtime, and a wider selection of groups, binaries, and discussions for you. What's more - we do not charge for downloading headers so you can browse as many newsgroups as you please before downloading.

Server Connections

Members can connect to both server groups (News and News-Europe) using just two simple easy-access gateways: News.Newsfeeds.com and News-Europe.Newsfeeds.com. You no longer need to connect to several different server addresses to get all the articles you need. In addition, you can log into our news servers using our user-friendly Web Gateway which requires no software downloads or set up. Downloading binaries and reading text messages in Usenet has never been easier. To check how much bandwidth you have used up and how much is left, log into the Member's Area and look at the control panel on the right.

Download Limits

Your download limit depends on the plan you subscribed for. If you purchased the 10GB/month plan, you can download 10 gigabytes from our servers within 30 days from your sign up date. Please note that each billing cycle is 30 days long and begins on the date you first sign up. Download limits reset every 30 days, and not on the 1st of the month. You may run out of bandwidth if you download more than the usual in a given month. In such cases, you will need to wait until your next billing cycle for your limit to reset, or you can get additional bandwidth from the Member’s Area.
